Climco Coils Company located in the Northwestern part of Illinois is looking for a talented Professional Quality Manager for our company which manufactures coils, stators, and solenoids. In this role, you will ensure that products meet quality standards and customer requirements. You will coordinate quality assurance programs, implement quality policies, and maintain a mature quality management system.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the mission, values and vision of the company.
• Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Maintain and update the quality manual and all documents, as needed.
• Create and manage MSA program, perform GR&Rs.
• Develop appropriate statistical techniques and procedures to monitor internal quality and supplier quality.
• Maintain non-conforming material process.
• Responsible for corrective and preventative action process, including 8Ds.
• Responsible for managing and maintaining ISO 9000-2015 and IATF 2016 standards.
• Provide guidance and keep employees informed of policies and operational changes.
• Administer direct supervisory responsibilities for personnel including selection, hiring, training, development, tasking, performance evaluations, and promotional recommendations.
• Act as the Quality point of contact to customers, which may require attendance at customer meetings, providing reports to customers, etc.
• Monitor suppliers by On-Time-Delivery (OTD) and required quality levels. Develop suppliers through on site visits, secondary audits, and metrics tracking.
• Participate in or lead continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning/Production Part Approval Process (APQP/PPAP) principles and use of associated tools per AIAG
• Trained Internal Auditor.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, SPC, Lean six sigma, and quality management systems.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Experience with 8D format, 5-Why, Fish-bone Diagram, PFMEA
• Effective verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to lead and work on a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical. Industrial or similar engineering degree
• 3-5 years of ISO/IATF quality management systems
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Training preferred
• 10 years is Manufacturing experience is preferred
